Gillette Edmunds

Gillette Edmunds, a leading expert on investing during retirement, has more than tripled his net worth during retirement. He served as the SmartMoney expert on early retirement for the weekly SmartMoney primetime chatroom on AOL and has been a guest on many local radio programs. Gillette wrote a regular column for SimpleLiving.com, has appeared on NBC Nightly News, and has been quoted in Barron's, Fidelity Outlook, New Choices, ThirdAge.com, MyPrimeTime.com, and WomensFinance.com. He is the author of three other books on retirement and investing. He graduated from Stanford University, has a Masters of Tax Law degree from New York University, is married and the father of three children. His son is the creator of Healthoid, a health improvement community.

Jim Keene

Jim Keene, CFA, CFP®, is the Regional Manager and Vice President of Wells Fargo Private Client Services in Walnut Creek, Ca., where he leads local teams of investment professionals, trust officers and private bankers delivering solutions to high net worth clients on over $2 billion in assets and liabilities. He has worked with numerous clients on residential real estate and financing issues and retirement/strategic planning in his work life. Jim has previous experience in commercial real estate financing and venture leasing. He was responsible for a $750 million loan portfolio representing the borrower and managed $140mm of initial venture leasing assets.

He has a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Administration from Syracuse University. He holds the Certified Planner® and Chartered Financial Analyst designations and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California. He holds the Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 securities licenses. He also teaches CFA review classes and is a Faculty Practitioner at the University of San Francisco where he teaches financial markets and instruments and alternative investments in San Francisco and Bangkok. He has been interviewed and quoted in the San Francisco and national media on investment markets and financial planning topics.

He is President of the Board at The Wellness Community, a cancer support organization, located in Walnut Creek, California. He is vice president of the Security Analysts of San Francisco, a professional organization representing 2,500 investment professionals. He is an active triathlete and runner and has completed two Ironman Triathlons and five marathons.
